Rich aka the bear: Travel junkie and musician. Perhaps Rich’s greatest achievement is setting up this website, inspite of having computer skills that would make a pensioner feel ashamed. An advanced Mandarin speaker, in spite his occasional mistakes. He also contributes to the sites translations. Since taking his first big overseas trip in 2008 travel has become an itch that just wont disappear, an itch so great that it lead to Rich moving to Beijing in 2011.
Miranda aka the pig: Passionate life lover and swing dancer. Always keen to bridge the cultural gap, she is frequently on hand to explain Rich’s Mandarin errors to the masses. With an eye for photos and the patience of a saint, Miranda is the calming ying to Rich’s slightly less delicate yang. Her incredible language skills are responsible for the majority of our Chinese translations, and her love of Chinese media has given us some of our most unique articles.
